It is important to have healthy nails. Ignore your nails and you could wind up with annoying fungal infections or painful ingrown nails. Follow these tips for healthy nails on all 20 fingers and toes.

  • Eat food that is rich in vitamin A and calcium
  • Add a hard-boiled egg and a glass of milk to your daily diet to prevent white spots on the nails
  • Ensure that half of your diet is made up of raw vegetables and fresh fruits
  • Eat food rich in silicon and sulfur like fish, broccoli and onions
  • Massage and file your nails correctly to keep them at their strongest
  • Drink plenty of fresh fruit juices and water
